I Hate Trump

John W. Pinkerton

There are a lot of folks who don't like Donald Trump; in truth, there are a lot of folks who hate Donald Trump.  Some of these folks will say they hate him because he stole the Presidency from Hillary: even they know and have always known that this wasn't, isn't, and never will be true no matter how hard they try to act as though it is.

Some of these folks will point to foolish things that he has said like, “I only like American servicemen who are not captured,” or “George Bush lied about the WMD in Iraq,” or his name calling---“Pochahantus,” “Sleepy Eyes” Chuck Todd, or “Crying” Chuck Schumer.  Although I agree with them that he probably shouldn't make these disparaging remarks, the folks who try to use these as a reason for hating him are not being honest with themselves…they themselves have undoubtedly said worse about their enemies.

Some of these folks even say that his tax reforms and cuts and the budget he rubber stamped will bankrupt  the country.  Really…after Obama's era doubled the national debt.  No, that's not the reason they hate Trump.

Some of these folks say that Trump is just a rich man trying to get richer.  A response is not merited.

Some of these folks pretend to hate Trump because he's a racist.  Even they know this isn't the case.

So, why do they hate him?  Well, let's look at who “they” are.  They're the frat boys (my apologies for my broad disparagement of frat boys); they're elitest, they are of the superior class…now, you'll notice I didn't say they were of the upper class indicating that they are the wealthy although many are…but many are just elitist want-a-bes  trying to get into elitist heaven, a place where everyone is kind and generous and loving and everyone is superior.

Elitists are easy to spot: they are covered with arrogance, egotism, hubris, pretension, pride, smugness, vanity, haughtiness, insolence, pomposity, self-importance, and, most importantly, self-love.

To give Trump credit for trying to do the right things for the country  and confess that all that they have proclaimed to believe are based on false foundations and would require that they admit that maybe they were wrong…well, then they would have no clothes.

By the way, they can't even admit that they hate Trump because that's not upper class.  They may be disdainful, averse, contemptuous, derisive, or antipathetic of Trump, but, Lord no, never hating Trump.  That's a bourgeois emotion.

Even the Bible says, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall,” or as most of us misremember it, “Pride goeth before a fall.”  It looks like some of you fellows need a clapper.
