*******
In the beginning there was naught but the Creator. Then he sang the song of creation and there was a huge explosion that expanded out into the void. This was the beginning of the Universe; and the Creator said, “Let it grow into what I desire.” The Universe grew and all within it was of the Creator. The Creator said, “This is Nature and Nature is good.”

The Creator is Love and the rejection of the Creator is Hate. All self-aware beings have the propensity to choose Love or Hate. The purpose of Hate is to diminish the Creator and is Evil. This is allowed because rejecting Hate and embracing Love is the way back to the Creator.

Each self-aware being has the choice of following The Way of Love or go with Hate. Love and Hate are to each other as the Yin is to the Yang. By following The Way one can get back to the Creator. Rejecting Love and embracing Hate is the way to oblivion.

In all civilizations throughout the Universe, in all of its dimensions and worlds, the battle of Love and Hate exists. Each civilization, group, culture, country or whatever it is called, have both components but not in the same proportions. Some have much more Love and others much more Hate.

Unulrău (the Evil One) is the personification of the concept of Hate. As with Love, Hate is throughout the Universe. The only place Unulrău cannot exist is in the Cosmic Stream because this is The Way to the Creator and is filled with Love.

This is a story about a great battle between Love and Hate.

In a different dimension, there is a world that is somewhat parallel to Earth, not the same, but quite similar. That world is called Planetă Verde. In that world there was a country called Bivol. The people of Bivol could be considered the yin to the yang of the people of Corb Lupia. The Bivolians valued group cohesion over individual freedom. They saw safety in numbers and would willingly give up their freedoms for security.

In Bivol it was frowned upon if one excelled above the others because it would make the others feel less worthy. The laws of the land were made by the Elite, and the people went along so they could be protected and cared for. There were very many laws and the need for lawyers, judges and law enforcement was immense.

They did not believe in The Way, the Creator, or a continuation of the soul after death. To them the perceived needs of the people or the State was supreme. That which benefited the State was good; that which did not was bad. The average Bivolian lived for the moment getting joy where he could and then passed on into oblivion. Because of this the people were selfish, bitter, greedy, and filled with self-loathing and hate. There were good people with love in their hearts in Bivol, but they were in the minority.

The national pastime of Bivol was playing the “Gotcha Game.” The Elites and the people always talked about how much they loved the State and were glad that all were equal, but this was not true; as with all people, each and every one of them desperately wanted to be unique. They said that it was right and just to sacrifice the few for the many, regardless of the specific situation. The “Gotcha Game” was catching someone saying something or acting in a way that might suggest that he was not in tune with these values. The State had declared that not having these values was a crime. Though the people and the State talked of love, the country was filled with self-loathing and hate.

At this particular time, a beautiful and stately woman came from afar to the country of Bivol. No one knew where she came from or her past. All succumbed to her beauty and special powers. One by one she seduced the Elites, male and female, until she became the ruler of Bivol. Now that she had conquered Bivol, she began to use the Bivolian army to conquer the rest of Planetă Verde. With her powers and the viciousness of the Bivolian army, the success of this endeavor was almost assured. That is if she could conquer Corb Lupia.

Corb Lupia was another country of this world. Corb Lupia did not have a government because the people of Corb Lupia felt no need for one. The functions normally performed by governments, whether local or national, were done by private citizens in cooperation with each other, or by independent individuals who competed against each other to provide the various services for a fee.

The Corb Lupians were strong, honest, kind and humble. They believed strongly in the Creator. They were people of the land or, said differently, of the natural world. They believed that while men and women were different, they were co-equals and were treated as such in all things. They respected and saw value in all living creatures.

The people of Corb Lupia followed The Way. Neither The Way nor the Creator could be completely defined because both were beyond the capacity of mortals. The Way could be referred to as the Cosmic Stream, the path back home to the Creator, to all of nature, all that is natural, or the entire Universe. All of these could be considered correct, but all could be considered not completely correct.

As the children of Corb Lupia grew up, they were taught about the fauna and the flora. They were also taught how all aspects of nature were dependent on each other and that by removing some of The Way’s components, it would cause The Way to be out of balance. Instead of harmony and peace, strife ensued.

However in the end, The Way would always come back into balance just as in the end good will always overcome evil.

Their philosophy included the following tenets which were accepted as the only laws of the land.

•	Do not demand others to be responsible for someone else’s destiny because they are not.

•	Do not interfere with others in their search for their destinies.

•	Do not coerce others to give of themselves or their property. This must always be done voluntarily.

•	Go through Warrior training and be ready to defend Corb Lupia if attacked.

Each individual had the choice of accepting these laws and live as a Corb Lupian or move on to somewhere else.

The government of Corb Lupia was best classified as an anarchy which is to say, in reality, there was no government. Those who study history will be hard pressed to find this type of government (non-government) which exists for any amount of time. Many perceive that it exists only as a state of existence when there is strife, and society is in the process of moving from one type of government to another.

However, anarchy has existed and still does. On Earth, from time to time, there has been small groups of people who lived in unique situations. One example is the Rendezvous of the Mountain Men or the Mountain Man society in general from the 1820’s to the 1850’s. Another example is some of the mining towns that sprang up in the United States from 1848 to1920. When the population is sparse and self-sufficiency is a must to survive, anarchy does well.

The reason Corb Lupia functioned so well in the state of anarchy was because, although the people were human beings, they had a genetic predisposition for not wanting that which they did not earn; or said another way, they were not greedy by nature. The vast majority of the people of Earth do not have this genetic propensity. Because of this they tend to be greedy and desire that which they did not earn. Some might say this is a minor difference, but the result of this difference is large.

Though, not greedy, the Corb Lupians were compassionate and reached out to those in need. They understood no matter how hard one tried there would be times when things just went wrong causing hardship and suffering. Because of this, those in need were provided for while they worked on getting their lives back together. This support was done, not through government coercion, but through charities of which most Corb Lupians voluntarily supported.

As all societies, the Corb Lupians had structure and traditions, but these were guides, not absolutes. The people could come and go as they pleased and did not need permission to do anything.

The people of Corb Lupia believed in competition. Anyone could compete with anyone else in anything, insuring high quality of products as well as services. Therefore services normally done by governments were much more efficient when done in Corb Lupia. All roads were toll roads and were maintained by individuals or corporations. Profit was considered good because it was the engine for both efficiency and growth. Competition caused the people to strive to do their best. Because of profit and competition, the Corb Lupian civilization was very advanced in both the sciences and the arts.

The Corb Lupians did have a council called the Consiliu Intelepti (Council of the wise). Membership was not gained by votes or selection from special groups, but by reaching a certain level of “Oneness” with The Way. When an individual reached this certain level, he was called “Om Intelept” or “wise one” and was automatically a member. Once one became Om Intelept they had a wolf tattooed on one shoulder and a raven on the other, for these were the totems of the Corb Lupia people.

Any citizen could attempt to become a member by accomplishing all the challenges presented by The Way, but very few tried, knowing that their level of attainment was insufficient.

A citizen, man or woman, who decided to try, was called an “Initiate,” and if the Initiate reached the correct level, membership was automatic.

The Initiate had to develop the ability to step into the Cosmic Stream, listen and observe what was present and return without any assistance.

The Consiliu Intelepti had no power except through persuasion, but because it consisted of the wisest of the land, its suggestions were most often listened to. Many generations ago it was the council that suggested that all adult men and women go through the training needed to be a warrior.

Though Corb Lupians were a peaceful people and would never initiate violence against others, they were also wise and knew other people were not as they were. In times past they had been attacked by others, but because they were such great warriors and so scientifically advanced, they were always victorious and had not been bothered for many years.

Their warrior training was broken down into five areas: Fitness training, Survival (one with nature) training, Skill Development, Science and Spiritual training.

Fitness training: The purpose of fitness training was to make the warrior very fit in the areas of cardiovascular, flexibility, muscular strength/power and muscular endurance. The people of Corb Lup were all very fit.

Survival training: As was stated earlier, all Corb Lupians had a very strong affinity to the natural world. The training in this area consisted of learning about the fauna and flora and in what way these could be used to help the warrior traverse through and survive in wilderness areas. It was said once a Corb Lupian got into the forests, deserts or mountains, he could not be found except if he wanted to. Because of their training, they were very knowledgeable about edible and poisonous plants.

Skill development: Skill training included running, swimming, climbing, knife fighting, knife throwing, archery, pistol and rifle marksmanship, wrestling, boxing and a type of martial arts very similar to Tai Chi. The expected level of accomplishment was extremely high, making the Corb Lupian warrior, male or female the most feared of all soldiers amongst the surrounding lands.

Training in Science: The Warriors studied physics, chemistry and biology. It was in chemistry training that they learned how to make explosives out of common or wilderness substances when in the wild and very sophisticated explosives when in the lab. It was here they also learned about pharmaceutical medicines, natural and man developed.

Spiritual training: The last of their training was spiritual. Normally one thinks of this as religious training, but in this case it was more than that. Remember that the people were of The Way, and The Way was of all that was Natural. This training helped the warrior become closer as “One” with The Way and therefore receiving more from its wisdom. This training included meditation, deprivation and pain control. The accomplished warrior could put himself into a mental state where he was separated from his body and therefore immune to whatever pain his enemy tried to inflict upon him.

While all Corb Lupians were attuned to The Way, therefore having a strong affinity with animals, there were a few among them that, with higher levels of clarity, could communicate with various animals through telepathy. All members of the Consiliu Intelepti had this to a high degree since it was one of the requirements to be an Om Intelept.

The members of the Consiliu Intelepti knew how to enter into the Cosmic Stream and in this manner they could go from one dimension to another when the dimensions were adjoined, which happens on occasion. The reason the path of The Way was sometimes called the Cosmic Stream was that, in a sense, it flowed, so one dimension might not always be adjoined to another. This happened slowly; therefore, brief visits from one dimension to another was not a problem. But prolonged stays could end up causing permanent separation.

Mostly the Om Intelept would enter into the Cosmic Stream, stay motionless and study that which was flowing by, both physical and spiritual. Then after a short time would enter back into Corb Lupia and share what had been learned.

This was always a dangerous adventure because if any of the Om Intelept got lodged free of access to the dimension that Corb Lupia was in, they would be adrift and quickly be lost and die.

However, there was a method to travel through The Way separate from being attached to a dimension, and this was called “Surfing the Cosmic Stream.” To be able to Surf the Cosmic Stream the Om Intelept had to reach a very high level of “Oneness” with The Way. When one reached that level, he would go on a “Quest” to verify that he had indeed done so.

The Quest was to travel in the Cosmic Stream to a specific valley located on another planet, merge as one with the totems of Corb Lupia (The Raven and The Wolf) and then return to Corb Lupia with the totems. This was a two-step process. First the Om Intelept had to go to the valley, place his essence inside the totem which could only happen when the totems were very young, then return after several years to reunite with them and bring them back.

In the past, only three Om Intelepti ever succeeded in doing this. That was long before the time of even the oldest of the Corb Lupians, and these great spirits had long since returned to the Creator. When this was accomplished, the Om Intelept was called “Om Deluminii” (The Enlightened One).

The Om Deluminii was able to take what was needed from the Cosmic Stream and form a silver disk which included a force field. This force field was impermeable to temperature changes and contained a breathable atmosphere. This was why the Om Deluminii could travel in the Cosmic Stream throughout the Universe.

It had been a long time since there had been an Om Deluminii. That was until the Om Intelept named Ravenwolf surfed the Cosmic Stream to Earth and upon returning with his totems became the fourth being to become an Om Deluminii. Who was Ravenwolf and what was to become of him? We shall see…

And the Cosmic Stream Flows On…
