What’s behind Proposed Changes?

Undecided voters should sit up and take notice of these two paragraphs by Rebecca Shabad of NBC News.

“WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., introduced legislation Friday that would create a bipartisan commission to determine a sitting president’s ability to carry out the duties of the office.

At a press conference unveiling the legislation with its original author, Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., Pelosi said the measure is not intended specifically for President Donald Trump, but she suggested he was the impetus for it.

“‘This is not about President Trump. He will face the judgment of the voters, but he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents,’ she said. ‘This legislation applies to future presidents, but we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of the current president.’…”

This action is a prelude to replacing the President with the Vice-President.  Specifically, it is setting the stage for proceedings under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment of the Constitution.

That is the law that gives the Congress authority to declare the President physically or mentally incapable of performing the duties of President and to designate the Vice-President as acting President.

As our President’s term will automatically terminate in four short months, Pelosi might be honest in stating that the bill is not aimed at Donald Trump.  So who could she have in mind?

The answer is found by going back four months.    That is when the presidential primaries were in full swing.  It is when Joe Biden began appearing as the probable nominee of the Democrat Party.

Remember the concerns then about the age and physical and mental acuity of Biden? There were concerns and whispers by the Democrat National Committee that Biden would not be able to complete a four year term as President.

So this is Nancy Pelosi being Pelosi.  She is not going to accept the results of the November election.   If Donald Tump is re-elected, she will attempt to accomplish under the 25th Amendment what she could not do under impeachment proceedings.

If, however, Joe Biden is elected, she will proceed under the 25th Amendment to accomplish what the DNC could not do administratively a few months ago.

That is really scary.  An election of Biden would be meaningless.  He would be allowed to serve for only a few months. He would be replaced by the woman regarded as the most liberal Senator now serving.

That is Senator Kamala Harris  who refuses to answer questions about stacking the Supreme Court.  Her previous conduct, however, indicates that she would be among the first to move to increase the Supreme Court to 15 Justices.

Then, assuming Democrats also controlled the Senate, she would move like a tornado to stack the Supreme Court with the most liberal judges available.

Then the scariest of all.  If Biden is elected and then deemed incapable of performing the duties of President, Harris would become Acting President and, horrors, Nancy Pelosi would be next in line for the White House.

In summary, if Biden, Harris, or Pelosi becomes President, we will enter the decline into socialism.  Here is what you can expect:

1. A Supreme Court stacked nine to six with very liberal Justices.

2.  Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico becoming the 51st and 52d states with a predominantly Democrat voting population.

3.  Elimination of the Electoral College so as to leave election of the President in the hands of the left leaning East and West Coasts.

So here’s the perspective.

When deciding how to vote for President this year, keep in mind whether you want to continue to live in the capitalist United States as it is today or are you willing to begin the slide into the socialism of Cuba, Venezuela, and other workers’ paradises.

Good luck on making a wise choice.
