She turns out a prodigious amount of quality work. MARY SCOTT Caldwell, Texas artist Mary Scott is a true country dweller. Mary and her husband ran a chicken farm for several years. They provided chickens for Sanderson Farms, and the chickens were processed and distributed throughout the country. Since retirement, Mary keeps a few chickens in her backyard for pets. Mary paints rural landscapes as well as rural animals. She also loves to paint people that are at work or play. The gesture and activity of the people intrigue her. Recently Mary was juried into a national show "Dwellers of the Land' in Round Top, Texas.
