Past Lives

Past lives are evidenced by the recollection of lives folks have lived before their present lives.  If past lives are recalled, they're normally recalled between the ages of two and five.

A youngster from Louisiana remembers being a World War II pilot in the Pacific theatre who died in a plane crash.  He seemed to inexplicably know many details of airplanes and other details from the era.  He recalled his name in his previous life, James Huston, and he recalled his ship's name, USS Natoma Bay.

An Oklahoma child continually declared that he wanted to go home to Hollywood to live in a much more lavish home he remembered.  He even claimed to recognize himself in a movie scene.

A case out of the Middle East paired a young girl with a family in a nearby village, and she knew the names and relationships of its members.

Occasionally the person recalling a past life, recalls famous people.  Barbro Karlen, a successful Swedish poet, claims to be the reincarnation of Anne Frank, and there is much evidence that she may be right.

Recollection of past lives is not very common and is viewed with great skepticism.

Over thirty percent of Americans believe in reincarnation and about three percent believe they can recall their own past lives.

We shouldn't be surprised by these numbers.  After all, reincarnation, is very appealing: repeated chances to improve our existence---much more attractive than the prospect of eternal Hell.

Both Thomas Edison and Henry Ford professed to believe in reincarnation.

Is there any hard evidence that the memories of past lives is true?  Well, there a lot of verified detail related to each case.  One odd piece of “evidence” which often occurs are birthmarks on these folks which match the wounds of the folks in the past lives.

It is striking how many of these claims of remembering past lives occur to folks whose past lives died violently.

You will need to examine each case and judge for yourself.  There is an abundance of cases recounted on the internet and in books about the subject.

If you are an adult and wish to recall your past life or lives, there are many folks offering advice and direct help often for exorbitant fees.

These adults seem to often have past lives as members of royal families…go figure.  As for me, I'd rather trust a toddler's story than an adult's.

If I have a past life, I suspect it might be a worm or an insect of some sort.   Not all past lives recollections are of people.
